This classic long black dress dates to the 1930s. It is knit from rayon ribbons, creating a form-fitting silhouette, which slinks down the body. The neckline has been hand painted with small flowers in pastel shades of pinks and greens. After 70 years these flowers have worn off a little and now are more of a subtle and flattering interest of color than a bold design detail. Still a very nice detail giving this black dress a boho touch.
