DETAILS

Monsieur Gaultier was obviously drawing inspiration from the lovely floral tea dresses of the 1930s. Here however he has used it only as a jumping block. The floral print is draped and pieced onto the body of a more streamlined dress. The flower motifs coming around the front in an almost bio-“morpiq” way. The floral sash can be tied either in the front or the back as well as the dress has a high-low hemline to keep it interesting and contemporary.
