This creates a lace from the knees up to the bust, a portion left clean at the top for balance's sake. Depending on the slip you wear you can showcase this marvelous handwork and the transparency it brings. The scalloped hemline is detailed with petals to add just that much more flutter to the many nights of dancing this dress enjoyed in its day. Now nearly 100 years later it is a true collector's dream. In strong wearable condition, the metal does have a patina, but isn't that what we love the most?
